The CFC-Youth for Christ Community
CFC Youth For Christ (CFC-Youth) is a youth organization under the Couples For Christ Family Ministries. It is open to people aged 13-21 of any Christian denomination, although the majority of the members are Catholics. YFC creates an environment to help every young adult in their journey to become close with Christ. Like Couples for Christ, YFC calls for, "Rapid, massive, global evangelization."

Fun

It is the place where you will hear the Word of God proclaimed by other young adults like yourselves in an environment of fun and excitement, where they do not experience any form of pressure from adults.

Friendship

It is the place where you can form friendships with one another through sports, games and as they share ideas and experiences, and entertain one another in a wholesome environment where Christian values are talked about and are actively practiced.

Faith

Young people undergo a "conversion to Christ" experience, an experience healing and reconciliation with the immediate members of their family, especially their parents. The youth of today have a great knowledge of God but do not necessarily have faith in God. YFC intends to make “real “ the presence of Christ in the lives of young people.
It is the place where they will be stimulated and encouraged to develop their gifts and potentials for leadership as they are exposed to other young adults who are actively involved in serving them as speakers, facilitators, sports and games coordinators, and other services that are essential to the life of the Youth for Christ. More than that.... The Food. Sarap ng food, diba mga titos and titas?

Freedom

Nothing is ever imposed on us. This principle springs from the basic belief that Christianity can only be lived out if it begins with an individuals personal decision to follow Christ.

But sometimes our notion of love is a love that does not get angry. We usually says, "May sasabihin ako ha, pero huwag kang magalit," because we don't want to hurt someone. But the truth is, if we love, we will get hurt. The person that we love the most is the person that would hurt us the most, because you care about that person so much. Kapag wala kanang pakialam, hindi kana nasasaktan.

There are two reasons why we get hurt:

1. You just love the person.
2. There is something wrong that needs to be corrected.

The problem we have now is that we confused love with mere feelings. We are equating love with hatred. We say it is love when there is no anger. But the opposite of love is not hate or anger, but indifference.

We could say there are two kinds of love:

1. Romantic love where you see what is beautiful of the beloved. Conversations such us, "Anak, huwag yan, maraming bagsak sa school." And the daughter would say, "Okay lang po nay, guwapo naman." Or another example, "Bestfriend, ang panget naman ng buhok niya." And the other would answer, "Okay lang, magaling naman mag gitara."

2. Mature love says, "I know and my eyes are open to the weaknesses and I love you beyond that."
So our love then should go beyond feelings and emotions. It must rise above what the eyes can see but what the heart can see. Same with God, lets love Him not because He will get angry at us, lets love God simply because He just love us so much. So the question now, should be, "Pag nagalit ako, maiintindihan mo ba na, mahal pa rin kita?"

In my own little ways, I had been trying to reflect on the love of Christ, more so when the theme for this year came out from John 13:34-35 “Love one another as I had loved you”. So many things had been said about love, but did we really try to

fathom the depths of Christ love, the height and breathe of His faithfulness?

Lately, I had been listening to a song, I just love its lyrics that says, “If my heart has grown cold, there Your love will unfold; when I'm blind to my way, there Your Spirit will pray; As You open my eyes to the work of Your hand.” What a God! I can’t help but says, who am I that He would go the distance of unfolding his love when I’m going cold, or who am I that He would go as far as giving His Spirit to pray when

I am blinded to my way?

Gods love is immeasurable, unfathomable, cannot be match. He would go a thousand times for us. When we ask, will you do it for me? He would answer, a thousand times for you. His love is always that of giving, His love is always that for others. His love is always that of saying, a thousand times for you. Can we also to others say, “A thousand times for you?”

The Name of Love

Love is not just the character of God, nor is it just the nature of Him. Love is the name of God Himself. He loves us first, not the other way around. His love does not depend on us loving back, because He is love. The beauty is that God has gifted us with the will, so that we could freely choose to love Him back. So our love then, is not a coerced love, or love just based on obedience or fear, but out of our own free will flowing from our heart.

No height, no depth, no creature that thrives can separate us from His love, the scripture says. What a faithful God! Gods’ faithfulness draws from its pure love for each and everyone of us. He simply could not close His eyes on us, His love is to great for us, and after all He is the source of all love.

Then I realized that without God "I AM NOTHING" or we are nothing.

God is the source of everything,

I’m so thankfull to God to see how He takes care of me,

from a fragil orphanage child without family and no futur,

He adopted me and makes me

His child with so many brothers and sisters with a eternal futur in His presence..
